Been spending too much time on PMOG lately. Nifty little game that runs in your browser but only if you have Firefox though, sorry IE users. It's lead to my discovery of a lot of cool new sites through the missions and portals. Mining and crates are fun!

No new comics this week I'm broke as joke. :-(

No more dead bodies for daddy tonight.

So I'm all settled in for my romantic valentines evening with Planet Terror and the Dark Crystal. If that doesn't scream romance I don't know what does. Says an awful lot for my social life doesn't it? Anywhoo, still working on reading all my comic from the last two weeks. Came to about $75 so much for cutting back. Wasn't planning on picking up the Neil Gaiman Batman, against the comic guys reccomendation, but it ended up in my pile anyways. Thank goodness I did. Best of bunch so far, reminds me a lot of the end of the Sandman run. A-mazing!! Just discovered how much raspberry frozen yogurt looks like zombie blood/innards. Ick.

How dare you entice me with Hal Jordan & leave me with Guy Gardener?! It's just plain mean. This weeks Brave & the Bold was no were near as good as last weeks.

Surely Batman never cries.

I love this cartoon, it reminds me of Batman The Animated Series. The one that brought about the creation of Harley Quinn. (Love her.) This week Batman isn't really teaming up with anyone cause he got toxic puke in his face and as a result is ill and has purple bumps (pimples?) all over him. Aquaman and the Atom shrink and go on an adventure in Batman's internals. I'd just like to interject that this show has increased my desire to one day own the Batmobile. It's also a voice activated submarine! How awesome is that?!??! I'll go back on topic and end with the following.
Aqua Man is muscle bound asshole......and I love him.

p.s. Next week Batman teams up with Green Lantern. HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lana Lang please go away. I heard that you had left the series which neutralized the fact that Lex was also leaving. Lex is awesome. You are a whiny self-centered annoying little twit. Stop ruining this season.

As you can see there is way too damn many books so I'm trying to cut them back to a more reasonable amount. I did away with New Exiles months ago, Umbrella Academy was just removed from the list this week but I'm still looking to remove a couple more. New Warriors I'm looking at you. Anywhoo my plans to remove more books was evilly foiled when I attended the last comic chat and Mark Millar the blame rests solely on your shoulders.

I kept hearing how great the Old Man Logan run was, even read the first issue and liked it but didn't want to add another comic to my pull. The owner of the store was reading the most recent issue and after seeing the expressions on his face I was sold. Picture a 5 yr old getting that pony that she's asking for, only this was a grown man who was just reading a comic. My normal steely resolve weakened I picked up that issue and the 2 issues before it. Read it first thing when I got home and OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Spoilers Ahead*

Amazing comic!!!! I've been loving the the Green Lantern but Old Man blew it out of the water. The whole time I'm reading I'm trying to imagine what could be so horrible that it'd cause Wolverine to refuse to fight again. Damn Mark!! You totally topped all the horrible scenarios I had running though my head. Maybe I'm just being a girl but I teared up a little. Seriously. I still can't get the picture Wolverine holding the dead Jubilee and the horrorific corpses of the other X-Men out of my head. I can't think of a more horrible thing to do to a person, it's devastating. I know that it's going to one of the comic moments that stick in my mind forever. Kind of like when Colossus injected himself with the Legacy Virus when Illyana died. Amazing. Even more amazing is that they (Mark Millar & Steve McNiven) were able to top it.
Can you say Venom T-Rex? I knew you could.

I cannot wait til the next issue. Well done sir, well done.

I wish I could quit you....

Dammit Arthas, why did you have to come back into my life? I was doing fine without you, meeting other characters and actually venturing outdoors a couple days a week. I hardly even thought about you until I saw you standing in the store looking all bad ass and scary, you made me weak. I tried to resist you, really I did and was doing a pretty damn good job until it happened.

WotLK release day.

Walking past the table loaded up with books, regular and collectors editions (CE) to go to break, it began innocently enough. I picked up one of the few remaining CE and purused the back out of curiousity and was able to put it back down and walk away. That little skeleton dragon haunted me all through break and the morning of work. The pile of CE got smaller and smaller, my will got weaker and weaker. Finally I decided that I would go to lunch and if there was still a CE when I got back I would buy it. Lunch was uneventful, I think it was Burger King. As I walked back into the store a ray of light came down from above to illuminate the single CE remaining. Oh yes, little skeleton dragon you were meant to be mine. In all of my euphoria I managed to purchase the game with my corporate card. Oops. See what this game is already doing to me?? Sigh. It's a good thing I don't have much of a life anyways. lol

Started up on a new server, Dalaran, in order to play with my sisters boyfriend since everyone I knew that played has moved on. As of last night I'm 3 and half levels from getting my hufflelump mount. Yeah, I know they're not called that but everytime I see them all I can think about is Winnie the Pooh. After a matter of hours I was right back in my old habits. Originally I started a human warlock because I've never leveled one past 10. (I have a horrible case of altitis.) I say originally because I quickly moved on to a different character, my lovely draenai hunter. What can I say, I love them. Hunters not draenai, I'd much rather be a blood elf but all my friends play Alliance. Wusses.
